The Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) has advised Journey Beyond of significant flooding along the Indian Pacific track, with several locations receiving more than 100mm of rainfall and the line remaining closed.
As a result of the ongoing track closure, the train was required to turn around and return to Perth on Monday 23 February and is currently unable to operate into Adelaide and Sydney. Consequently, the below journeys have been cancelled:
Our team is currently communicating with impacted guests and making alternative travel arrangements where required. Guests who booked via a travel agent are advised to work directly with their agent.
The service departing Perth on Saturday 28 February is intended to operate. We are monitoring the upcoming forecast and are in daily communication with the ARTC regarding track re-opening. Should anything change, we will advise guests further.
